FIU Archives Announces Schedule for Summer Term

The closure dates are as follows:
- Friday, May 3, 2024 (FlU Libraries closed)
- Tuesday, May 12, 2024
- Wednesday, May 13, 2024
- Thursday, May 14, 2024
- Memorial Day: Monday, May 27, 2024 (Florida International University closed for the holiday)
- Independence Day: Thursday, July 4, 2024 (Florida International University closed for the holiday)

October 9, 2023 declared Miccosukee Day

This proclamation serves as a profound recognition of the tribe's enduring strength and resilience. Moreover, it marks the beginning of a new tradition, as the second Monday of every October will now be celebrated as Indigenous Peoples' Day in Miami-Dade County.
