Danny Carballosa, Compliance Manager
Submitted by rhia on Wed, 10/01/2025 - 10:43Danny Carballosa serves as the Compliance Manager & Records Management Liasion Officer at Florida International University, where he oversees the University Records Management Program. In this role, he guides staff on best practices for records maintenance and disposition, while leading outreach efforts to promote records management across campus.
An FIU alumnus, Danny earned his Bachelor's degree in English Literature in 2021 and later completed a Master's degree in Business Leadership at the University of Miami in 2023.

Submitted by rhia on Wed, 10/01/2025 - 09:51Althea (Vicki) Silvera is the department head of the Special Collections Department in the Green Library at Florida International University.
Ms. Silvera has been at FIU for over thirty-five years. She previously served as University Archivist, FIU's records management liaison officer, and Curator for the Gallery at Green Library. She came to FIU in 1987 from Occidental College in California. Ms. Silvera has also worked with the Archives of Jamaica, the National Library of Jamaica, and NHPRC's Garvey Papers Project (UCLA).
