The Tropical Splendor of Florida Birds: A Selection of Books, Prints and Objects

In collaboration with the Broward County Main Library, two of our treasures, The Everglades: River of Grass by Marjory Stoneman Douglas and A List of the Birds of Florida by Charles B. Cory are included in the exhibit, The Tropical Splendor of Florida Birds: A Selection of Books, Prints and Objects.

The Tropical Splendor of Florida Birds: A Selection of Books, Prints and Objects is on display at the Broward County Main Library – Bienes Museum of the Modern Book, 6th Floor, 100 S. Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301.  Florida is home to a remarkable range of bird populations. Visitors can enter the world of Florida water and land bird life. The exhibit features rare books, children’s books, contemporary book art, prints and objects from private collectors, artists, academic institutions and the South Florida Audubon Society.
The exhibit has been extended till Wednesday, June 24, 2015.  Main Library Hours:  Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10:00 – 6:00   
Tuesday and Wednesday 12:00 – 8:00
