Drapo

Join us October 16 for the Exhibition Opening & Conversation with artist Mireille Delice

Join us on the opening day of the Haitian Drapo Art Exhibition for a conversation with artist Mireille Delice and Pierre Minn, Department of Anthropology, Université de Montréal exploring the art of Haitian Drapo. Delice’s intricately beaded ceremonial flags are rooted in Vodou religious traditions represented through colorful fabrics, sequins, and embroidery. Together, she and Minn will discuss the cultural, spiritual, and artistic significance of these powerful works.
